The deadline for sports notices is noon Monday. Submissions should be typed or neatly printed with both a contact number for verification and one for publication. Names should be spelled properly and include both first and last names. Phoned-in items will be rejected.


GOLF CAMP

The Philadelphia Recreation Department conducts its annual golf program at Cobbs Creek Golf Club, 72nd Street and Lansdowne Avenue. This program features instruction from members of the Philadelphia section of the Professional Golfers Association the first three days of the week along with two days at a public golf course. The recreation department provides all necessary equipment. The camp at Cobbs Creek golf course will be held 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. the week of Aug. 6. Cost is $50. SEYAA OUTDOOR SOCCER

Registrations are under way for the SEYAA outdoor fall soccer program, which begins Sept. 8. Age divisions are: 4 to 6; 7 to 8; 9 to 10; 11 to 13; and 14 to 16. Teams are coed and games will be played at SEYAA, Seventh and Bigler streets. The program runs through November. Register 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays at the sports complex. SOCCER SKILLS CAMP

Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets, holds a soccer skills camp for ages 13 and younger 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 12. Campers receive a T-shirt and ball. Call 215-685-1894.


SUMMER SPORTS CAMP

The Cibotti Recreation Center, 77th Street and Elmwood Avenue, is taking registration for its "sports and trips" summer camp. An emphasis on sports, such as baseball, basketball and flag football, will be combined with several educational/cultural trips. The six-week camp began July 2. Space is limited. Call 215-685-4194.
