Sharif Custis, an All-Catholic senior football star at Neumann-Goretti, 1736 S. 10th St., received a Mini Max High School Award Jan. 10 at Drexel Hill’s Drexelbrook Catering Ballroom.
The University of Massachusetts-bound performer is receiving the honor from the Maxwell Football Club for a combination of academics, community service and football achievements.
The Pennsylvania Football Coaches Association also honored him with a Third-Team All-Defense distinction.
