The Greenwich Street Church, 240 Greenwich St., soon will give way for the construction of a pair of single-family homes. The 148-year-old Pennsport location has had a couple incarnations, beginning as a worship site for members of the Third Presbyterian Church and in 1987 becoming the Khmer Palelai Buddhist Temple to accommodate increasing numbers of Cambodians.
