Huge congratulations are in order for Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School for winning this year’s girls’ and boys’ basketball championships! Both teams truly deserved to win as all of them were extremely dedicated and passionate about their sport. Their sense of camaraderie is to be admired. What a sweet victory for both teams to win on the same day at The Palestra. Kudos to their coaches, Carl Arrigale and Letty Santarelli, who inspired their players to do their best.
I am so very proud of the students of Neumann-Goretti High School, as I am a graduate of the Class of 1974. Go Saints!
