To the Editor:
I just want to say that I am disappointed that the Mummers do not come through our neighborhood anymore. Marching all the way down Broad Street is a tradition in South Philly. I know that some members of the string band said that there were blocks after Washington Avenue where there were no people on the street, but what about the blocks where there are lots of people standing on the sidelines; like, for example, near the Methodist Hospital? It was always packed over there. I think they should go back to the old way and strut through South Philly.
