A teen was shot in the leg in West Passyunk on Labor Day.

The 16-year-old heard a gunshot when his leg began to ache as he was walking on the 2000 block of South Croskey Street at 12:30 a.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Police transported the boy to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.

Police, who did not discover an ballistics evidence at the scene, did not have a motive or any suspects at press time.
