A man had to give up his wallet’s contents to a knife-wielding aggressor in Newbold last week.

At 4:20 a.m. May 29, the complainant was walking along Broad and Mifflin streets when the unknown figure approached him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Pointing a blade at his target, he was able to have him hand over the holder, from which he removed $132, before entering a silver Chevrolet Silverado that sped off heading southbound along Broad Street. The victim tabbed the attacker as white, 40 to 50 years old; having a thin build and dark hair; missing teeth; armed with a knife; and wearing a gray hoodie.
