The Philadelphia Police Department’s Vice Enforcement Unit arrested a Whitman man for his alleged solicitation of an undercover officer for sex.
On Oct. 8, while conducting a patronizing operation in the 26th District, authorities detained three men, including Spencer Morton, of the 2600 block of South Lawrence Street. They recovered $230 in cash and confiscated a 2008 GMC Yukon and an ’03 Acura MDX and charged the 28-year-old local arrestee with patronizing a prostitute and criminal solicitation. They granted him a release on his own recognizance, and he will have a status hearing this morning.
