The four sports complex community directors have called an important meeting for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 (tomorrow night) at Stella Maris, 10th and Bigler streets, concerning the expected decision that the proposed Live! Hotel and Casino site, 10th Street and Packer Avenue, will be awarded Philadelphia’s second casino license.
The groups are calling on every able-bodied resident to attend and let their voices be heard. The increase of vehicle and foot traffic; outsiders wondering through the community; and a potential increase in crime are just a few of the concerns.
Other community updates will also be on the agenda. Refreshments will be served.
