1st District police responded to gunshots in Marconi. No injuries were reported.

A shooting on the 2400 block of South Carlisle Street at 10:44 p.m. Oct. 12 left only wounds to homes and cars on the block, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Detectives found bullet holes in a front window of a 26-year-old man’s home along with various marks and holes through nearby residences and automobiles. Although residents were home, no one was injured.

Police did not have a motive at press time.

The shooter was described as white, wearing a blue hoody with white stripes and a face mask and driving an older model, tan Ford Taurus. There was not a detailed description of his passenger.
