A thief jumped an elderly woman on a Queen Village Street Friday.
The 69-year-old was walking underneath Interstate-95 on the 900 block of South Front Street at 6:51 a.m. when the man hopped from behind a parked car and said, “Give me the money,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Upon telling him she didn’t have any, he pushed her to the ground and swiped her watch before fleeing eastbound on Christian Street.
The perpetrator was described as Latino or black with a light complexion, 5-foot-8, thin; and wearing an oversized white T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
