A Queen Village bar patron’s rage after being asked to leave left his bartender injured Friday.

A 36-year-old employee at Tavern 222, 222 South St., asked a man to leave for unknown reasons at 1:58 a.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Upon the request, the man became enraged and threw bar stools and glasses at the bar. Flying glass struck the bartender in the head, causing a laceration.

The offender was described as black with a dark complexion, in his mid-20s, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 130 pounds and wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.
