Police busted a Lower Moyamensing man a block away from where he supposedly robbed a fellow male.

Meeting with the complainant on the 800 block of Tree Street at 12:22 a.m. April 2, they learned that two males approached him from behind, pushed him against his vehicle and removed $300 from his jacket, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He added that the two ran into a residence on the 700 block of Tree Street.

Authorities went to the abode and, upon identification from the victim, arrested Chhoeuth Pril, who held what appeared to be a black stick in his hand, Tolliver said. They charged the 32-year-old with criminal conspiracy, assault, possession of an instrument of crime, robbery and theft. Court records list that Senior Judge Harvey W. Robbins found him in contempt of court for “disobedience or neglect of officers” Monday, with a six-day maximum penalty.

A detailed description of the second supposed attacker was not available upon press time.
