Authorities made an arrest in a Queen Village robbery, but the detained figure’s supposed accomplice remains at large.

At 11:15 p.m. June 8, a driver for Southside Pizza, 740 Mifflin St., was looking to make a delivery on the 300 block of Queen Street when he observed an unknown male at 333 Queen St., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The motorist gave the address to which he was looking to deliver the food, with the man allegedly directing him a short distance away.

The complainant stated that the supposed offender removed a silver handgun from his waist band, pointed it at his chest and commanded “Give me the food and the money.” The reported aggressor took the cash, with an ally approaching from behind and grabbing the food.

Based on their investigation, detectives and SWAT executed a search warrant at the 400-block-of-Christian-Street address of Antoine Vance June 17 and recovered evidence related to the crime. They arrested the 21-year-old and charged him with criminal conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, robbery, theft and firearms violations. He had not posted his $500,000 bail as of press time and awaits a July 2 preliminary hearing.
