The latest 3rd District Community Crime Bulletin came out Monday.
In Police Service Area 1, which includes the East side of Broad Street to the Delaware River and the South side of Lombard Street to the North side of Washington Avenue, officers reported a burglary on the 800 block of South Street. To date, the section has seen 49 burglaries and four arrests. Thefts from auto occurred on the 700 block of South 13th Street, the 400 block of Queen Street, the 2800 block of South Darien Street, the 1100 block of Kimball Street, the 100 block of Kenilworth Street, the 500 block of Fitzwater Street, the 700 block of South Second Street, the 1000 block of South Third Street, two matters on the 200 block of Fitzwater Street, the 400 block of Christian Street, the 800 block of Kimball Street, the 900 block of South Beulah Street and the 800 block of South Front Street. To date, there have been 127 such incidents, with two arrests.
In Police Service Area 2, which encompasses the East side of Sixth Street to the Delaware River and the South side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, police detailed robberies on Second and Third streets and Oregon Avenue. The expanse has seen 36 robberies so far in 2015, with nine arrests. Authorities reported burglaries on the 300 block of Shunk Street, which yielded an arrest, and the 500 block of Federal Street. Sixty such matters have occurred this year, with seven arrests.
In Police Service Area 3, stretching from the East side of Broad Street to the West side of Sixth Street and the South side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, police addressed robberies on the 800 block of Federal Street, the 1200 block of South Seventh Street, the 700 block of Reed Street and the 700 block of Porter Street. This year has witnessed 80 incidents and 25 arrests. They looked into burglaries on the 1200 block of South 13th Street, the 1700 block of East Passyunk Avenue, the 2700 block of South 11th Street, the 1300 block of Titan Street, the 800 block of Cross Street and the 2400 block of South Franklin Street. To date, there have been 72 burglaries and five arrests. Thefts from auto accounted for complaints on the 1400 block of South Juniper Street, which yielded an arrest, the 700 block of Bigler Street, the 2600 block of South 10th Street, the 800 block of Moore Street, the 2500 block of South Sixth Street, the 2200 block of South Ninth Street, the 2300 block of South Mildred Street and the 1100 block of East Passyunk Avenue. Nine arrests have come from 199 incidents.
