The Community Crime Bulletin, a weekly recap by the Third District, 1300 S. 11th St., of occurrences in three Police Service Areas, revealed the following information Monday. In Police Service Area 1, which consists of the east side of Broad Street to the Delaware River and the south side of Lombard Street to the north side of Washington Avenue, one robbery occurred between April 28 and May 4. Two burglaries happened, with one latter producing an arrest. They also reported one theft from auto. For the year, they have documented 18 robberies with four arrests; 27 burglaries with nine arrests and 43 thefts from auto with no arrests.

For Police Service Area 2, which runs from the east side of Sixth Street to the Delaware River and the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, officials dealt with three robberies, tended to one burglary and addressed six thefts from auto. The annual totals for the stretch are 25 robberies with eight arrests; 33 burglaries with four arrests; and 93 thefts from auto with four arrests. 

In Police Service Area 3, which encompasses the east side of Broad Street to the west side of Sixth Street and the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, they responded to two robberies and five thefts from auto. So far this year, they have investigated 53 robberies with 15 arrests; 51 burglaries with eight arrests; and 140 thefts from auto with four arrests.
