A man became a cyclist’s victim in Pennsport Friday.
The complainant told authorities that at 10:30 p.m., he was walking along the 2000 block of East Moyamensing Avenue when an unknown person operating a bike approached him from behind and used an unknown object to strike him in the head, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The blow knocked him semi-unconscious, which left the aggressor the time to nab $200.
The complainant received transport to Methodist Hospital for a head injury. He could not give a detailed description of the attacker.
