A South of South deliveryman was robbed after dropping off food in West Passyunk Sunday.

The 43-year-old male employee of Southside Pizza, 917 S. 20th St., completed a delivery on the 2000 block of South Norwood Street at 12:47 a.m. when he was held at gunpoint, Detective Danielle Tolliver said. The man armed with a silver revolver said, “Where’s the money at? Where’s the money at?” as the other offender punched the man in the back of his head and shoved him against a wall, so he could remove his wallet that contained credit cards, a Social Security card and $1,000, as well as his iPhone. The pair fled northbound on Norwood Street.

The victim sustained minor scrapes to his hands, but did not seek medical treatment, Tolliver said.

The offenders were described as black with a light complexion, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, thin and wearing a black jacket. The gunman also was described as lacking facial hair.
