A Grays Ferry man was gunned down two blocks from his home Sunday night.
Jacques Charles, 32, of the 2800 block of Wharton Street, was found with gunshot wounds to his chest, arm and leg at 9:12 p.m. on the 2700 block of Reed Street, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit. He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead eight minutes later.
Police did not have any suspects or a motive at press time.
