Peter Mark Richman, an 1945 alum of South Philladelphia High School, 2101 S. Broad St., is hosting an evening of music 8 p.m. Friday at The Mann Center.
The Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by his son, Lucas Richman, will play John Williams’ classics to celebrate the composer’s 80th birthday.
