Police are seeking a suspect wanted for breaking into vehicles and stealing their contents in Newbold/Point Breeze.
The unknown perpetrator was riding a bicycle on the 1700 block of Annin Street when he put his bike down and threw an unknown object at the rear passenger’s side window causing it to shatter at 4:49 p.m. April 11, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit, which released surveillance video depicting the crime May 3. He retrieved items, such as a laptop and its case.
The offender broke into more vehicles before fleeing on his bike with the stolen items, police said.
The offender was described as black, age 20 to 30; having a heavy build, short hair; and wearing a blue shirt, green jacket, dark-colored pants, dark-colored shoes and glasses.
