Six-figure score

An unknown burglar or burglars swiped more than $130,000 worth of cash and valuables from a Grays Ferry home last week.

A 25-year-old left her residence on the 2600 block of McKean Street at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 31, but when her 16-year-old relative came home at 3 p.m., she found the front door wide open, the second-floor bedroom door broken and all of the bedrooms ransacked, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. A three-foot high safe containing $71,500 and $60,000 worth of jewelry, an Xbox, two HP laptops and a few pairs of Jordan sneakers were missing.
