Police are looking for the figure(s) who shot a man in Point Breeze.

A witness stopped officers outside of the 17th District, 20th and Federal streets, at 8:55 p.m. July 10 and told them of a shooting on the 1200 block of South 19th Street. The civil servants responded to that area and located a shooting scene consisting of a gray BMW with a bullet hole in the rear window, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

Police, who recovered ballistic evidence, learned a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back had arrived by private auto at Methodist Hospital with another male. The complainant received subsequent transport to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for a broken right shoulder, Tolliver said. He stated that he did not see who shot him and that he ran to a relative’s house to receive aid.
