A woman was shot while sitting outside on a companion’s West Passyunk steps.
The pair of 19-year-old women were hanging out in front of a home on the 2200 block of McKean Street when they heard gunshots at 12:50 a.m. Aug. 23, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. After running into the dwelling, one of the females learned she had been wounded in her right leg. A medic unit transported her to HUP in stable condition.
Detectives recovered ballistics evidence at the scene.
