A Monday evening shooting claimed the life of Jamahal Miller of the 1300 block of South 29th Street.
The 21-year-old had been outside of a residence on the 1300 block of South Fifth Street in the Dickinson Square West section when someone delivered 13 shots to his left arm and torso shortly before 11 p.m., Officer Jill Russell of the Public Affairs Unit said. He died at 11:12 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
As of press time, police had reported no arrests, motive or suspects.
