The U.S. Marshal Service is seeking a Point Breeze man who allegedly threatened the father of his girlfriend’s baby with a firearm.

Authorities are offering $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Raheem Bey, 21, who allegedly pointed a gun at a man in front of an infant in the Northwest section of the city and fled police, U.S. Marshal Supervisor James Burke said.

Bey, whose last known address is on the 2300 block of Tasker Street, allegedly was engaged in a fight with his girlfriend’s former flame and threatened him with a gun on the 1800 block of Brunner Street Nov. 1, 2011, according to police. The couple fled in a car with the woman’s 1-year-old daughter, whom she has custody of. Police spotted the duo at 19th and Tasker streets where Bey is believed to have crashed his car. Bey allegedly fled the Point Breeze scene whereas his girlfriend was taken into custody.

Bey is described as 6-foot-3, 165 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes.
