The Citizens Crime Commission has posted a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for killing a West Philly man.
The commission posted a $1,000 reward in regards to the person who killed Maurice Acey, John Apeldorn, Citizens Crime Commission of Delaware Valley president, said. Acey was wounded multiple times in the chest, thigh and buttocks at 10:47 p.m. April 30 on the 2000 block of South 22nd Street, according to police. The 30-year-old died from his injuries seven hours later at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
