An unknown, armed man held up a Passyunk Square convenience store Sunday.
The man entered 7-Eleven, 1034 Washington Ave., at 6:04 a.m. with a silver firearm in hand and demanded money from the employees, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. They handed over $100. The offender demanded they lie on the ground while he fled eastbound on Washington.
The gunman was described as Hispanic or Asian, age 20 to 25, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, thin; having thick eyebrows; and wearing a black hoodie, diamond stud earrings, blue jeans, black sneakers and a black cloth over his face.
