Robber orders cash to go

A Lower Moyamensing restaurant was held up last week.

A man entered Johnnie’s, 2240 S. 12th St., at 9:15 p.m. April 27 and demanded a 22-year-old employee hand over some cash, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The cashier gave the man $500. The robber fled south on 12th and west on Daly Street.

The suspect was described as white with a tan complexion, age 20 to 25, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5, thin, with short, curly brown hair and was wearing a black hoody with a scarf covering his face.
