A man was killed blocks from his home Sunday evening.
James Wright, 25, of the 300 block of Washington Ave. was gunned down on the 900 block of South Fourth Street at 8:36 p.m., Officer Jill Russell of the Police Public Affairs said. He was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, arms and torso and pronounced dead about 90 minutes later.
Police did not have a motive or any suspects as of press time.
