A West Passyunk gas station was held up last week.

At 8:12 p.m. Aug. 23, two males — one armed with a black automatic firearm — entered the office at the Vince and Sons’ Gulf gas station, 2435 W. Passyunk Ave., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The armed male demanded cash from a 36-year-old employee while his accomplice swiped a cigar box, containing $3,500, from under the counter. The two fled in an unknown direction.

The armed suspect was described as black, age 23, 6 foot, thin and wearing a black T-shirt and a black wool mask while the other offender was described as black, 5-foot-6, thin and wearing a green T-shirt with blue and white stripes.
