A man was wounded in Newbold/Point Breeze last week, but no ballistics evidence was discovered.

The 28-year-old was on the 1700 block of Manton Street when he felt pain in back at 6:26 p.m. July 5. Police transported him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his back.

Police were unable to locate a crime scene. The motive was unknown, and there were not any suspects at press time.
