A man was robbed at gunpoint as he made a pizza delivery in Whitman Sunday night.
The 36-year-old Uncle Oogies Pizza, 2119 W. Oregon Ave., deliveryman transported an order to the 100 block of Porter Street where two men held him up, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.
One of the men placed his firearm against the man’s head and demanded money, Tolliver said. The twosome grabbed his belongings and the food before fleeing west on Porter and south on Hancock Street.
The gunman was described as black with a medium complexion, age 20, 5-foot-8 with a medium build and was wearing a blue hoody while the accomplice was described as black, age 17, 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 with a thin build and long sideburns and was wearing a light gray hoody.
