The Philadelphia Gas Works urges income-eligible customers to apply for a Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) grant, which assists in restoring energy services or avoiding home shutoffs. Gov. Tom Corbett extended the deadline to April 15.
“PGW is here to help customers manage their outstanding bills and avoid an interruption to their service, but they need to contact PGW immediately because help is available,” Daniel Murray, PGW’s vice president of customer affairs, said.
