Police are seeking a man caught on video stealing a Point Breeze pay phone last month.
The man parked a white work truck with a rear cab and ladder racks on the 1200 block of Point Breeze Avenue at 12:37 p.m. Feb. 25 before he exited the vehicle and entered Hoagie Town, 1206 Point Breeze Ave., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Upon exiting the business, he walked to a pay phone in front of 1204 Point Breeze Ave. He removed the device — valued at $1,565 — and placed it in his truck before leaving the area.
The man was described as white, age 40; having short, brown hair, a medium build; and wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
