Khalil Wimes, 6, of the 1800 block of South 22nd Street, was transported to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at 10:45 p.m. March 19 with multiple injuries, according to a Police Public Affairs release. He died 31 minutes after arriving due to blunt force trauma.
His parents, Tina Cuffie, aka Tina Wimes, 44, and Latiff Hadi, aka Floyd Wimes, 48, both have since been charged with murder, aggravated assault, conspiracy murder, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
