While in custody for a June 13 attempted break-in, police identified Tyron Williams as the perpetrator in two other similar incidents that occurred on two parallel blocks.

Williams, 22, of North Philly, was arrested after allegedly attempting to commit his third overnight, corner-store burglary within the course of five weeks, police said. After being caught during the 2:17 a.m. alleged heist at Little Pete’s Deli, 2600 S. Sixth St., investigators linked him to two other crimes that occurred at 5:34 a.m. May 11 at Little Pete’s Deli and 2:21 a.m. June 3 at Triple L Grocery, 2600 S. Beulah St.

He allegedly stole $500, cigarettes, SEPTA tokens, totaling $5,000 May 11 and an undisclosed amount of cash, merchandise and cigarettes June 3, according to police. He allegedly entered the former via a window that he is believed to have tossed a brick through and accessed the latter by removing an air conditioner in a window.

He was charged with three counts of criminal mischief and trespassing; two counts of burglary, possession of an instrument of crime, receiving stolen property and theft; and one count of attempted burglary and conspiracy, according to court records. His bail, which was set at $20,000, had not been posted as of press time.
