A bullet went through a customer’s leg when he made an early-morning stop at a South Street pizzeria.

The 31-year-old was inside Lorenzo and Sons Pizza, 305 South St., at 3:20 a.m. Sunday when he heard a shot fired, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He ran around the corner to his car and felt pain in his right shin where a bullet entered, exiting through his calf.

He was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was treated and released, Tolliver said.

Detectives were unable to locate a scene or any witnesses.
