A man put his hand around a woman’s throat and without saying a word, stole her purse and fled in Quenn Village early Sunday.
The 25-year-old woman was strolling on the 1000 block of East Moyamensing Avenue at 3 a.m. June 10 when the man grabbed her from behind and ran off southbound with the bag that contained a wallet, ID, keys, $35 and a debit card, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.
The suspect was described as black with a dark complexion, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 160 to 180 pounds, clean shaven; having a muscular build; and wearing a black T-shirt with a red design on the front and baggy blue jeans with a white towel in his rear pocket.
