A fire in The Philadelphia Navy Yard left one worker injured last week.

Around 7:30 a.m. Feb. 12, a crane caught fire at the Aker Philadelphia Shipyard, 2100 Kitty Hawk Ave., with Philadelphia Fire Department Capt. Clifford Gilliam saying the incident started within the device. An employee suffered severe burns and received transport to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

No details have emerged on what caused the blaze, which firefighters brought under control nearly an hour after it originated.
