A man was robbed in South of South shortly after the end of Monday’s holiday.
A 45-year-old was headed home when three men demanded his belongings at 1 a.m. Tuesday on the 2000 block of Fitzwater Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. After one asked for cash, another punched him on the right side of the face, which caused swelling and knocked him to the ground. The victim handed over $20 and the offenders fled west on Fitzwater.
