Moving on up: Luxury Connect conference to now be held in $135M mansion

Inman News’ Oct. 23 Luxury Connect event is moving to the $135 million Beverly House, a 6-acre estate in Beverly Hills, California. The 50,000-square-foot mansion was built in the 1920s and was the residence of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies. The home also served as a honeymoon hideaway for Jacqueline and John F. Kennedy.

The home appeared in “The Godfather” where the famous scene of a bloody horse head is discovered by a film producer in his bed.

With seven structures on three parcels, architect Gordon Kaufmann designed the terra-cotta stucco mansion that sports 30 bedrooms and 40 bathrooms.

“We sold the event out very quickly, but now we have more space to accommodate a slightly larger group, though we are keeping it exclusive to the best agents from Southern California,” said Inman News Publisher Brad Inman.
