Two armed men greeted a Hawthorne family inside their residence Sunday morning.
The pair entered a home on the 1200 block of Webster Street in an unknown manner at 10:04 a.m. and aimed black handguns at and demanded cash from a 50-year-old man and woman and a 26-year-old woman, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The man handed over $300, and the invaders fled in an unknown direction.
The suspects were described as black with dark complexions and age 24 to 25. One was 6-foot-5, thin and wearing a blue T-shirt and dark blue jeans while the other was 5-foot-5, 250 pounds, having facial hair and wearing cargo pants.
