Danny DeVito: The actor known for his roles on "Taxi" and in "Batman Returns" occasionally rolls into town to film scenes for the FX series "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," but he is a product of Asbury Park, N.J.

•Ed Rendell: The former mayor of and now governor of Pa. is passionate about our cheesesteaks and sports teams, but he is a New Yorker. He must really like it here.

•Dick Clark: Although "Bandstand" premiered in Philadelphia, the legendary radio and TV personality was born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., and moved here in 1952 to usurp the teenage demographic.

•"Cold Case:" Although the CBS drama is based in Philly, filming is done in Hollywood. Some scenes and exteriors shots have been taped here, though.

•10th & Wolf: This popular corner within walking distance of the Review was the title of a 2007 movie shot in — where else — Pittsburgh.

•The Mob: South Philadelphia has had its share of mob figures, many of whom are behind bars, but the community is not run by high-profile crime bosses nor is it the only state they’ve been associated with.
