A West Philly woman allegedly stabbed her son’s father during an argument about the child last week in West Passyunk.
Tylisha Slaughter, 20, arrived at her ex’s home on the 2200 block of South Bonsall Street and the pair began arguing outside about caring for their son. Slaughter allegedly pushed the man and stabbed him in the back of his neck. In the process of fighting her off, Slaughter received a cut to her face. Police arrived as he pushed her away.
The man was taken to Methodist Hospital for the treatment of two puncture wounds to the back of his head.
Slaughter was taken to HUP for treatment and then was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person. She posted 10 percent of her $10,000 bail Oct. 10.
