A Point Breeze robbery left five individuals with a lesson on when and when not to answer the door.
The victims, males ages 22 to 26, notified authorities at 11:47 p.m. July 25 after falling prey to someone who demanded entrance into a house on the 1900 block of Tasker Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Ordering the occupants to the floor, the offender relieved them of their money and phones.
The intruder was described as a black male in his 20s, 6-foot to 6-foot-2, with a muscular build, clean cut facial hair, a light to medium complexion and wearing a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored jeans with an “H”-emblazoned white belt. He is believed to have fled in a dark-colored vehicle in an unknown direction.
