A Southwest man was slain within a Passyunk Square cell phone store Monday evening.
Donnell Neuswan, 21, of Southwest Philadelphia, was inside Cellular Inc., 644 Washington Ave., at 6:59 p.m. when two men entered the store and shot Neuswan multiple times in the chest, Officer Tanya Little of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. Police transported him to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m.
It was unclear if both men had a weapon and if Neuswan was a customer or employee at the store, Little said. There were no suspects and the motive was unknown at press time.
