Gun gone wild

Three men, including one with a gun, made life difficult for two Dickinson Square West employees Monday night.

Entering the Santa Fe Food Market, 521 Reed St., at 9:30 p.m., the main offender produced a silver gun and pointed it at the first female complainant to demand money, with an accomplice guarding the front door, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Hearing yelling, the second worker reacted to inspect and had the gun pointed in her face, too, with the lead suspect motioning to a black bag.

The second intruder then placed approximately $600 in the holder before he, the first figure and another male fled eastbound on Reed Street, Tolliver said. The distraught women described the individuals as black, with the first being 25 to 30 years old; having a dark complexion, a thin face with a beard but no mustache, a small, thin nose and a thin build; and wearing a black hoodie and matching pants; the second as having a thin build and wearing dark clothing; and the third as 25 to 30 years old and having short, black, curly hair, a dark complexion, large lips and wide eyes.
