An elderly man was injured in a hit and run at the Sports Complex Tuesday night.
A 91-year-old was crossing the street on the 800 block of Pattison Avenue at 9:14 p.m. when a gray Nissan pickup truck with a Delaware license plate struck him and fled west on Pattison, Officer Jill Russell of the Police Public Affairs Unit said.
The man was transported to Jefferson in stable condition with a laceration on the back of his head, Russell said.
Police did not have a description of the driver at press time.
