Authorities are looking for the man who attacked an older adult in Lower Moyamensing Friday.
At approximately 8 a.m., the complainant was sitting on a bench at 1300 Oregon Ave. when the unknown assailant approached him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The figure punched the 81-year-old in the head multiple times before removing a bank envelope containing $150 from his right pants pocket. The uninjured victim, who last saw the perpetrator running southbound on 13th Street, described him as black, in his 20s and 6 foot; having a large build and a mustache; and wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
